If you have never installed the program
- Download StyleFix_FullPackage.zip from Here
- Unzip to an empty folder.
- Double click on Setup.exe.
- Then update your version.
To Update to the latest version
- Download StyleFix_Update.zip from Here.
- Unzip to an empty folder.
- Copy the files to the C:\Program Files\ StyleiFix folder.
This program provides solutions to several problems encountered by users of the PSR-740 and earlier instruments.
StyleFix Functions
- Exchange Mains Sections. Two variation instruments, such as the PSR 630, can only play the Main A & B sections of four variation style files. StyleFix will exchange the data and Ctab of Main C and Main A, and of Main D and Main B for all four variation styles selected.
- Replace "Number" file names ( e.g. S__00100.sty) created in the PSR-740 and earlier instruments with names generated from the internal stylename.
- Replace specific bass program numbers with a selected XG equivalent. This has been provided to correct the inaudible or "muddled bass" played by some PSRs (e.g. 630/730) when it encounters certain bass voices in some styles.
- Add a Break Fill to styles that do not have them.
- Remove the OTS/Database sections. This function removes all data following the CASM and allows styles from the PSR-2000 and later instruments to be used with older PSRs.
- StyleFix can operate on a single file or a group of styles automatically.
