This program allows the user to edit characteristics of a selected style file. The program StyleFix offers a similar function for a group of files.

  • Internal Stylename This is the name that is visible in the instrument’s display. It is different from the filename.

  • Tempo  While this function is available on the instrument, it provided here for style developers and others who want to alter the default tempo.

  • Copyright Styles created on the PSRs always have the factory copyright, even when the style is created from scratch. This can be corrected by use of this facility.

  • The order of the Main sections The program allows swapping of any section by any one of the others. This allows users whose instrument only supports the variations Main A and Main B to gain access to the Main C and Main D sections that are available on four-variation styles. Another application is to create a physical order of sections (e.g. left to right) better adapted to a performance.

  • Editable Flag  Allows all parts (not just SubRhythm and Rhythm) of factory styles with one track per part to be edited in StyleCreator.
